The Department of Mechanical Engineering
organised a Guest Lecture on Engineering
Thermodynamics and Industry Expectations to the II
year Mechanical Engineering students on
24.09.2020. Mr.Vijaykumar Jain, Sr. Team Lead-
Technology (Mechanical), ELGI Equipments
Limited, Coimbatore was the resource person of the
event.
The Association of Department of Mechanical
Engineering organised a guest lecture on “Stress
and Strain Analysis on Mechanical Structures" on
21.09.2020. Mr.Puspharaj from L&T was the chief
guest.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering in
association with Indian Institute of Foundrymen
SKCET Chapter organized a Guest Lecture on ‘Metal
Cutting – History and Principles’. Mr.K.M.Kumaran,
General Manager, Komet precision tools India
private limited, Bengaluru was the chief guest of the
event.
