The Department of Mechanical Engineering in association
with Society of Automation and Robotics organized a
Faculty Development Programme on IoT for Mechanical

Engineers on 20 November’19. Dr.Shriram K Vasudevan,
Assistant Professor, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham,
Coimbatore delivered a talk on "Internet of Things for
Mechanical Engineers" as a part of the FDP during the FN
session.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering in
association with Society of Automation and Robotics
(SAR) organised a guest lecture under the topic 'IoT in
automotive Industry' on 29.09.2020. The resource persons
of the event were Mr. Swaminathan Palaniappan, HMI
specialist and Mr. Madhan Kumar Dhandapani, Associate
Project Manager, Robert Bosch Engineering and
business solutions limited.
