All the programmes offered in the college are in semester pattern and organized around the Choice Based Credit System of study. The credit system enables continuous evaluation of student’s performance and flexibility to allow him/her to progress at an optimum pace suited to his/her ability or convenience, subject to fulfilling minimum requirements for continuation.
Students can opt for one credit industry oriented courses of 15 hours duration which will be offered by experts from industry/other Institutions, subject to the approval by the Head of the department. A student will be permitted to do any number of audit /self-study courses over and above the graduation requirements.
A Mini- project will be a regular course to conduct a design and fabrication type project. Every student will have to undertake suitable projects in department / industry / research organization in consultation with the Head of the Department and the faculty guide. Industrial Practice is a regular departmental credit course to be done typically at the end of the semester V or VI semester. The Industrial Practice duration may be a minimum of three weeks, preferably in an industry or an R& D institution.
