MISSION & vision
Innovations for Future
To produce quality engineers who will have the capability for integrated product development involving mechanisms, electrical, electronics and information technology coupled with total quality consciousness to meet the challenges posed by the ever-growing field of automation.
To identify and to use the particular blend of technologies this will provide the most economic, elegant and appropriate solution to the problem in hand.
COURSES OFFERED
The department offers
» B.E Degree Programme in Mechatronics Engineering - 4 Years
The Course
• Mechatronics encompasses the knowledge and the technologies required for the flexible generation of controlled motions.
• Mechatronics is the synergetic combination of mechanical and electrical engineering, computer science, and information technology, which includes control systems as well as numerical methods used to design products with built-in intelligence.
• A precise definition of mechatronics is not possible, nor is it particularly desirable, because the field is new and expanding rapidly; too rigid a definition would be constraining and limiting and that is precisely what is not wanted at present.
