The School offers two-year full-time
- Master Business Administration (MBA) programme affiliated to Anna University, Chennai
CURRICULUM AND SYLLABI
The MBA course is conducted on a semester basis, with four semesters spread over two academic years. The two-year Program has an effective mix of concept learning and application-orientation.
During the first two Semesters, students are provided with basic inputs in management studies that form a strong foundation for their future learning. The focus is on providing an integrated approach to the different functional areas of management.
At the end of the second Semester, students are required to undergo a project work for about six weeks in any company. Could there be any better way of ensuring strong foundation?
The third and final Semester are planned to provide functional expertise to the students in their area of interest Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Production or Systems. Students can choose up to a maximum of eight electives from any of these areas.
With such a well-planned and executed program, we are sure that our students will get excellent placement opportunities.

Facilities
Class Rooms
The exclusive School of Management block houses air-conditioned lecture halls and syndicate rooms with adequate audio-visual aids providing a very conducive environment for learning.
Library
The Library of School of Management acts as a repository of wisdom with rare titles, journals and magazines of international repute. The library has got more than 3250 books (2238 titles) and 177 journals (of which 80 are International) apart from CDs in contemporary management concepts.
Computer Centre
The computer center, working round the clock with Internet connectivity, provides enough opportunities to the students to keep themselves abreast of the global environment.
Director's Profile
Mr. Ramanathan has completed BA (Economics) from Maduari Kamarajar University and MBA from PSG College of Technology. He has M.Phil from Madurai Kamarajar University and has done TOT programme from University of Manchester. During his work with NABARD, Mr. Ramanathan played an instrumental role in managing the SHG Bank Linkage programme, the largest Microfinance programme in the world. He was also In-charge of newly set-up Financial Inclusion Department involving formulation of policy and operational guidelines. In addition, he was responsible for Management of Financial Inclusion Fund and Financial Inclusion Technology Fund. His special skills are in Management Development Financial Institution / MFIs / Training Organizations, Designing & Directing of Non-conventional Training Programs and Process Intervention Techniques and Facilitation of Organizational Development Interventions. He had participated, as a Resource person, in a good number of International and national conferences on micro finance, financial inclusion, capacity building, rural development banking etc.
